my expectation before they attended it was basically to give them an environment that was comfortable and safe um something that welcomed and challenging the noble has not only met but they have totally exceeded our family's expectations the teacher the student ratio has been uh and the things that my children have been able to do has really helped them to thrive it's different from a traditional public school um you really get a small community feel here at Noble Academy you really get to know all the teachers all the Scholars all the families um since our numbers are are on the lower side it definitely feels you get a a community feel like a really sent a good sense of family here at Noble I think we're all here for the same purpose we're all here for the the development of our children we want them to be leaders we want them to be successful we want them to be educated you know we have kids that come from all different backgrounds and needs and you know different levels of needs so as a school we try to make sure that we address all the different levels of all of our different students we try to have the most open communication we can from the top down so our admin tries to stay in touch with our families via Class Dojo through um Power School emails um through our website we want our parents to be informed and participate eating in as much as they possibly can in our building we also encourage teachers to do home visits so when parents are comfortable families are comfortable having the teachers stopped by whether it's just to stop by to say hello to visit the kids and you know their home environment or to deliver a homework if to a sick student or something like that we encourage that teachers enable or do that we provide breakfast and lunch to all students as well as take home lunches on days when the school day ends early leader and me is a program based on the 7th for highly effective people it's been adapted for schools like ours to provide students with leadership opportunities as well as character education students receive instruction daily from our leader in me teacher as a special and so they're working on that social and emotional development you might see scholar leaders at lunchtime um Direct the classes to clean up to line up um you will see scholar leaders when we have visitors come in the building um they'll give them tours the sports program is great I love to see their teachers that come out and support them and um getting with the other parents is really cool I love basketball because the basketball team in general it helps me to like relieve stress from school and stuff we go and we compete to get our wins and we're like a family of Brothers there we have a crisp program in order to work with our theaters so that gives them the opportunity to be a part of their community do community service and to build in our community and to be able to give back we do a Saturday school where the parents have to bring their child in and they're with us for about 3 hours um we'll do a little bit of extra test prep stuff but on top of that we'll do um a character education it gives me knowledge of the real world and also gives me an outlet to go to different places and see how different schools interact we go camping every year like there's so many fun activities that you can do but you're also doing them for a reason you're learning how to be a good leader and how to lead the people around you it's just a really good bonding experience and I think it really helps them feel a good connection to the school when I chose Noble Academy is because they offered a strong stem program and both my children at the time were interested in technology mathematics and Engineering Noble Academy has been a god into our family um when I look at how phenomenal it is helped to um shape the character and the academics of my children I can't say more I like how they have some teachers here that really involve call themselves with their students so they don't seem like they're just numbers that we care about whether they do well or not they care about how they behave in a classroom and they really try to enforce the rules across the board and when they have an issue help the student understand why they had to issue not simply punish them and then push them out the classroom the way that my children have been able to thrive here um with friendships with relationships from teachers with even the 2 that have left and gone off to high school and now the 1 in college they still keep in touch they still check on them
